We empower children and adults facing mental health challenges with high-energy, non-contact boxing programmes. Whether at risk or under referral, every participant gets the chance to build strength, confidence, and resilience — in and out of the ring.
Off The Ropes was born from a shared passion for boxing — and a deep belief in its power to transform lives. But we’re more than just boxing. We’re a supportive community where young people and adults facing mental health challenges build confidence, resilience, and lasting connections through boxing and a variety of activities designed to boost wellbeing and recovery
Programmes
Hospital in reach
A high-impact boxing programme delivered directly on mental health wards and in hospital gyms — led by trained staff who understand the setting and support adults to relieve stress, build fitness, and reconnect with their strength.
A pathway to recovery, connection, and confidence More than boxing, we’re a supportive community helping adults build strength, wellbeing, and friendships through non-contact sessions and social activities.
We’re proud to offer six free non-contact boxing sessions exclusively for NHS staff — a chance to boost your physical and mental wellbeing in a supportive, welcoming space. Join us to unwind, build strength, and connect with colleagues through fun, inclusive sessions designed just for you.
If you want to help make a difference to people’s lives through boxing, then either DONATE today or choose Off The Ropes as your charity and get involved with some fundraising with us.
